“Our time spent with you in this quiet peaceful place with the beautiful view of Spiggie Loch will become a cherished memory for us...”
Shetland is the most northerly island in Scotland and lies about 200 miles north of Aberdeen where there is an overnight ferry link to and from Shetland operated by Northlink Ferries, stopping off in Orkney several times a week.
Regular daily flights operated by Flybe in partnership with Loganair from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and Orkney make Shetland by no means remote.
Transport connections within Shetland are excellent with a regular bus service throughout the islands and car ferries and inter-island flights to the more remote islands.
Finding Setterbrae is easy as we are conveniently located just a short drive from the main road between Lerwick and Sumburgh, yet secluded enough for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
From Sumburgh Airport, simply drive five miles north on the main A970. Turn left at the Quendale signpost and drive for just over a mile, turn right at the Spiggie/Quendale junction and continue west where you will find Setterbrae, the third house in on the right.
From Lerwick and the north, take the A970 heading south for approximately twenty-two miles, turn right at the Quendale signpost and follow the above directions.
